Michael Corr is an Assistant Vice President at Lincoln Financial Network. In his role, Mr. Corr works with financial advisors to identify and bring to market estate and business planning strategies that help clients achieve their financial planning goals.
Prior to joining Lincoln, Mr. Corr was a member of the Pennsylvania General Assembly, representing the 150th Legislative District in the House of Representatives. From 2008 to 2016, he was with The Vanguard Group, where he served as a Senior Manager in Vanguard’s $70 billion Education Savings Group, with responsibilities for institutional relationship management, business development, and investment strategy, partnering with thirty states to help families save for higher education through 529 plans. He was also Senior Estates and Trusts Counsel in Vanguard’s Personal Advisor Services, where he provided consultations to clients on a range of matters, including estate and gift tax planning, customized trusts, and charitable giving.
Mr. Corr has more than thirty years of experience helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals. He was a partner in a suburban Philadelphia regional law firm specializing in estate and business planning. He also held positions as a senior tax consultant and certified public accountant at two of the Big Four accounting firms in Philadelphia. Mr. Corr earned a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame, a J.D. from Widener University School of Law, and an LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law. He holds the FINRA Series 7, 24, 51, 63, and 65 licenses.
